Encaustic Work - Hazy Recollection

You may recall the encaustic piece I started several days ago.  (I shared it HERE)  

When I stopped to share it on the blog, I knew it wasn't done.  After several more days of reflecting and layering, it moved to this:

And then this, the final version:

These take quite a while to do ...layer after layer.  For me, that adds so much to the piece.  There is a rich history, both in my time and the evolution of the piece.  (Plus they are just so much dang fun to make!)
