OWOH Winners, Love, and Yoga Adventures

Three part post today - just too much to share in one li'l part!

-ONE-

TODAY'S THE DAY!  The Winners of the One World, One Heart Giveaway are being announced!

First, a big THANK YOU to everyone who entered.  I am so thrilled to have been part of this again and to have made many new connections.  To my new followers, so glad to have you here!!!

Comments were closed at midnight last night.  From there, I used the random number generator to pick the first winner (who will get to choose which painting they want) and the second winner (who will get the one the first did not pick).

*Note: I meant to make this prettier and have copied images of the random # generator - but I can't figure out how to copy the darn thing!  So for those who want to know: I went to "random.org", entered 1 to 159 in the box on the right, and generated a number for the first winner.  I just repeated for the second.  Easy peasy!  So if you didn't win -- don't blame me.  Blame random.org.

THE WINNERS

#1: Comment #131 - NIKKI (http://www.booksmithstudio.com/)

#2: Comment #144 - SHEILA ERSKINE

Congratulations to the winners, and thanks to everyone who participated!!!!

-TWO-

You still have a chance to win - MANY things!  Don't forget about the love-fest going on over at DirtyFootprints Studio.  Post your Art Journal Love on your blog, link back with Mr. Linky, and you are entered!

Get more info here.

(And don't forget, one of my paintings is up for grabs in the giveaway...along with TWO spots in the upcoming 21 Secrets Workshop and some completely AWESOME other giveaways!!)

-THREE-

My yoga adventures have gone live!

You'll notice the new tab at the top of this blog, "YogAdventures".  This is where I will be chronicling my venture back into yoga - primarily at a local studio.  I will honestly share my fears, challenges, triumphs and experiences as I delve into a month-long adventure trying to re-explore the magic of yoga.

I share this in hopes that it will encourage even one person to look at their own fears and excuses and to go deeper in their own practice - whatever that may look like.

Each post will include an honest reflection of my experiences surrounding that day / class (including the days I opted out and why).

The post will end with a "LeftOver Lessons" section that sums up what I feel are the important parts I'm taking away from the experience.  Even if the story doesn't speak to you, hopefully something about this last part will.  (And if you are short on time, feel free to skip to those!)

Right now, day 1 is up.  I have been journaling after every class I've been to, but the transfer to the blog is taking longer than expected.  I will continue adding days as I create time on the computer, so watch back for frequent updates!

Speaking of, I'm off to my mat practice....

Namaste.
