The Difficulties Of Doing Nothing

I went to lunch with a wise woman today, who spoke of a challenge she'd experienced at home.  While sitting down, she felt a deep discomfort...a longing to check her iPad.  The longer she sat, the more she noticed urges arising to get up and check something, do something.  But she kept sitting. Just noticing.

I immediately empathized. And I'm curious - do you find yourself almost unconsciously checking social media?  Do you get uncomfortable in the silent moments?

Watch this and try a little challenge:

So, did you do it?  Leave a comment - let me know: What did you experience?  What do you normally find in moments like these?

Here's to our practice.

Namaste.
