Welcome to a new type of photography experience.

If your idea of being photographed brings to mind “say cheese”, stress and anxiety, or the feeling “I look horrible in photos”,

we need to talk.

Playful Photography is based on the idea that the EXPERIENCE of being photographed is just as important as the photos you receive.

If you aren’t enjoying the experience, your photos will reflect that. You want to be relaxed, feel non-judged, and free to express all that you are feeling in that moment. I can help you with that.

Lisa Wilson’s Photography is amazing. Her energy is infectious and she goes out of her way to make you feel comfortable. She captures personalities and relationships in her photos
— Amy A.

I offer traditional photography sessions, such as individual portraits, senior photography, couples, and families.

But we aren’t coming together just to capture a senior, a couple, or a family. We are coming together to relax and have fun, and to take photos that will capture the authenticities of those moments.

I also encourage my clients (and potential clients) to think outside of the here’s-when-we-are-supposed-to-take-photos box.

I believe that we need more people who have come alive. More authenticity. More encouragement to know one’s self and more expression of those true selves.

And I believe photography is a way of accomplishing this.

Coming together in a place where you feel free to be you, where you are vivaciously encouraged to play with your self-expression, and possessing visual reminders (yep, photos) of who you are can be life-changing.

Don’t limit yourself to being seen just when you are told it is acceptable to do so.
