Creating The Impossible

Aerodynamically, the bumble bee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumble bee doesn't know it so it goes on flying anyway. - Mary Kay Ash
I've done my research on "true encaustic work".
They say encaustic work can't be done with crayons.*

*I purchased an iron to do most of the melting which helped with the fumes.  I still keep the window open for ventilation.
They say you can't use acrylic paint with wax.

They say you must stamp before you apply the wax.

I say thanks for the information.  Now shhhhhh......
I'm trying to create.

(Note: I am aware of the reasons not to do what I mentioned.  Yes, water-based paint and wax don't "mix".  Crayola crayons may not be as workable as their pricey alternatives.   This piece may not stand the test of time; may fade or crack.  Right now, though, I'm not interested in creating something pricey and with the illusion of permanence.  I'm interested in creating art.)
Namaste.
